About The Position

The Senior Fullstack Developer will administer and maintain enterprise applications in a secure cloud environment. The role includes monitoring system performance, managing user access, troubleshooting production issues, supporting software deployments, and ensuring application reliability and compliance. Candidates must be U.S. citizens with an active Top Secret clearance and a Security+ certification on their first day of work.

The developer will support production applications throughout the software development lifecycle in an Agile environment. Depending on technical specialization, the role involves developing, maintaining, or supporting application components using Spring Boot or Angular, along with event-driven architectures and relational databases. The position also contributes to secure, reliable, and fault-tolerant operations in cloud environments and supports application modernization with cross-functional teams.

The position is offered at a W2 hourly rate beginning at $80. Pay depends on experience, qualifications, location, and certifications and may change. Requirements

• U.S. citizenship.
• Active Top Secret security clearance required on the first day of work.
• Security+ certification required on the first day of work.
• At least 5 years of experience working in fast-paced Agile software development environments and delivering code to production.
• Experience in at least one of the following: engineering production Spring Boot microservices, including secure connections and automated test coverage; or recent experience with modern Angular versions, component architecture, RxJS, build tooling, automated builds, component testing, and documentation.
• Hands-on experience building or supporting event-driven architectures, including message producers and consumers, partitioning, delivery ordering, retries, and backpressure.
• Strong relational database skills, including schema design, query optimization, and developing performant interfaces with production databases.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

Nice To Haves

• Experience implementing durable, long-running workflows, including multistep business processes, task decomposition, automated retries, and failure recovery.
• Experience developing applications and microservices in AWS GovCloud or similar secure cloud environments.
• Experience with Kubernetes for application development and microservice deployment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor application health, system performance, alerts, and logs to maintain operational availability.
• Administer user accounts, permissions, security roles, and access requests.
• Troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues and coordinate resolutions with development and engineering teams.
• Support software deployments, patching, maintenance activities, and system upgrades.
• Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and audit records.
• Support production applications throughout the software development lifecycle in an Agile environment.
• Develop, maintain, or support application components using Spring Boot or Angular, depending on technical specialization.
• Build and support event-driven architectures, including message producers and consumers, topic and stream partitioning, message ordering, retries, and backpressure.
• Support relational databases through schema design, query optimization, and development of performant database interfaces.
• Contribute to secure, reliable, and fault-tolerant application operations in cloud environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and support ongoing application modernization.
