About The Position
COLSA Corporation is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to support software development efforts for Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) in Huntsville, Alabama. The role involves designing, developing, and deploying software across traditional computing platforms and edge and embedded devices. The engineer will contribute to the full software development lifecycle, including application development, CI/CD pipeline implementation, containerization, and offline provisioning of Linux and ARM-based environments. The position focuses on building reliable, scalable, and deployable software solutions for connected and disconnected environments. Ideal candidates have experience with 3D geospatial visualization, CesiumJS, and terrain data processing, along with a strong foundation in full-stack development.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack software applications supporting Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and associated mission systems.
- Develop and manage containerized applications using tools such as Docker and related container technologies.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software build, testing, integration, and deployment.
- Implement 3D geospatial visualization capabilities using CesiumJS and related mapping technologies.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on software architecture, implementation strategies, and best practices across the development team.
- May evaluate vendor capabilities to provide required products or services.
