Senior Full Stack Product Engineer (Next.js + AI-Native Delivery)
About The Position

The firm is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Product Engineer to own end-to-end delivery, from frontend to backend, and operate effectively in an AI-native development environment. This role is not a traditional developer position; it involves building products and systems for governments and large institutions where speed, ownership, and engineering judgment are crucial. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with rapidly evolving AI workflows in development, QA, and delivery, capable of taking a feature from idea to deployment, moving fast using AI tools without compromising quality, and working independently while collaborating closely with product and leadership.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience building production web applications
- Strong, hands-on experience with Next.js and React (mandatory)
- Proficiency in TypeScript and modern frontend architecture
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs
- Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
- Proven ability to own features end-to-end (UI → API → database)
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across the full stack
- Experience working in remote, autonomous environments
- Comfortable using AI tools in your daily development workflow (not just experimenting)
Nice To Haves
- Experience with .NET / ASP.NET Core
- Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms
- Familiarity with Playwright or automated testing frameworks
- Experience integrating LLMs into applications
- TailwindCSS or modern UI frameworks
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end feature development across frontend, backend, and data layers
- Build production-grade applications using Next.js, TypeScript, and modern web stacks
- Design and implement clean, scalable APIs and services
- Work directly with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to shape solutions
- Debug issues across frontend, backend, and infrastructure layers
- Use AI tools (LLMs, agents, automation) to accelerate development and delivery
- Contribute to a fast-moving, highly collaborative, remote team environment
- Continuously improve how we build including AI-driven workflows and automation
