About The Position

Join Synmatch AI's client, a Berlin-based startup building an AI-native platform for managed agents that transform fragmented data into real-time strategy. They're creating the operating layer for AI-powered decision making connecting data, documents, workflows, and expert knowledge so teams can move from information to action faster. This is not a classic frontend or backend role. You'll work end-to-end across product, design, engineering, AI workflows, data, and integrations. You'll understand messy business problems, design pragmatic solutions, ship quickly, and improve based on real usage. They're looking for a builder who owns outcomes, not tickets. Our client operates in complex, high-stakes business environments where decisions depend on large amounts of unstructured information, disconnected systems, and domain-specific knowledge. You'll help build an architectural intelligence layer that is agentic, modular, and domain-aware.

Requirements

• Fullstack Engineering: Strong skills with TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, and Postgres
• Shipping Track Record: Built and shipped real products end-to-end in production environments
• Problem-to-Product: Can move from problem to working product without needing detailed specs
• Ambiguity Tolerance: Comfortable with uncertainty and fast iteration cycles
• UX Thinking: Think deeply about user experience, not just technical implementation
• Architecture Focus: Care about clean architecture, good abstractions, and production reliability
• AI Product Knowledge: Understand how modern AI products are built beyond simple prompting
• Technical Breadth: Experience with APIs, data models, permissions, background jobs, and integrations
• Product Judgment: Strong product sense with ability to challenge unclear requirements constructively
• Communication: Clear communicator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Self-Direction: Highly self-directed with ownership mindset—acts without waiting to be told

Responsibilities

• Own Problems End-to-End: Take product problems from discovery to production with full ownership
• User Understanding: Deeply understand user problems, workflows, and constraints to inform solutions
• Fullstack Development: Design and build features across UI, backend, database, APIs, and integrations
• AI Workflow Development: Build AI-powered workflows using LLMs, retrieval, agents, structured extraction, and tool use
• Data Integration: Work with documents, data sources, and enterprise systems for comprehensive solutions
• Rapid Iteration: Ship quickly, test with users, and iterate based on real feedback and usage patterns
• Product Quality: Ensure quality across UX, performance, reliability, security, and maintainability
• AI-Augmented Development: Use AI coding tools as part of daily workflow for accelerated delivery
• Pattern Recognition: Turn repeated customer patterns into scalable product features
