About The Position

The candidate for this role will be expected to be onsite five days a week at our client site in Pittsburgh PA. For this role on this particular client engagement, employer sponsorship of immigration related visa and/or green card status as part of the PERM process will not be available. Requirements

  • 6+ years of strong hands-on experience with: Java (Java 8/11/17+), Spring Boot, REST API development, Microservices architecture
  • 6+ years of experience with: Hibernate / JPA, Distributed systems and asynchronous processing
  • Strong understanding of: Object-oriented programming, Design patterns, Secure application development
  • 6+ years of strong experience with modern frontend technologies such as: Angular, React, JavaScript / TypeScript
  • 6+ years of experience building: Responsive web applications, Enterprise UI components
  • Understanding of: State management, API integration, Frontend performance optimization
  • Strong SQL and database skills: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DB2
  • 6+ years of experience integrating with: APIs, External enterprise systems, Authentication and authorization services
  • Experience with: Git and version control, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins/GitHub Actions/GitLab
  • Familiarity with: Docker, Kubernetes, Linux/Unix environments

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with enterprise document management / ECM platforms such as: OpenText, IBM File Net, Hyland OnBase, AEM or Sharepoint
  • Familiarity with Document ingestion and retrieval, metadata management, search and indexing and document management lifecycle

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade full stack applications supporting document management and content processing workflows
  • Develop scalable backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot
  • Build responsive and user-friendly frontend applications using modern JavaScript frameworks
  • Integrate applications with enterprise document management platforms and external systems
  • Develop and maintain: Document ingestion workflows, Metadata management capabilities, Document retrieval and search services, Customer-facing document access solutions
  • Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Participate in code reviews and enforce development best practices
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application performance and production issues
  • Support CI/CD automation and DevOps practices
  • Contribute to system modernization and cloud adoption initiatives
