About The Position

CrewAI is hiring a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to build its Agent Management Platform, a control plane for deploying, monitoring, governing, and scaling AI agents in production. The role focuses on making complex AI infrastructure understandable and usable, helping customers diagnose failures, review decisions, and manage their automations. This is a senior full-stack product engineering role with a strong frontend emphasis. The engineer will spend most of their time building rich interfaces while owning the backend changes needed to deliver complete features. The technology stack includes React, TypeScript, Rails, Hotwire, and PostgreSQL. The role leads work from problem definition through launch and partners closely with design, product, and runtime engineers.

Requirements

  • Track record of independently delivering substantial full-stack product features, with particular depth in frontend engineering.
  • Deep proficiency in React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS, including component design, complex state, asynchronous behavior, and performance.
  • Experience shipping rich, interactive products such as editors, workflow builders, developer tools, or applications with complex data.
  • Strong product and interaction judgment, including the ability to simplify technical workflows and make thoughtful decisions without every interaction being specified.
  • Practical accessibility knowledge, including semantic interfaces, keyboard navigation, focus management, and accessible component behavior.
  • Ability to independently ship backend changes supporting product features, including data models, APIs, services, and background jobs.
  • Experience with Rails or a comparable framework.
  • Pragmatic judgment about when to reuse, refactor, or introduce abstractions in an existing codebase.
  • Clear communication and ability to align engineering, product, and design around a solution.
  • Ownership of production outcomes and curiosity about AI agents, execution traces, and human review workflows.

Nice To Haves

  • Rails experience.
  • Experience with visual canvases, graph interfaces, observability products, or live event streams.
  • Experience with Hotwire/Stimulus, ViewComponent, or shared design systems.
  • Experience building AI products, human review workflows, or enterprise permission and integration experiences.
  • Experience improving frontend developer tooling, testing infrastructure, or component documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Build end-to-end product workflows across Studio’s visual editor, deployments, traces, human review, onboarding, integrations, permissions, and settings.
  • Partner with design and product to clarify customer problems, prototype solutions, and iterate based on usage and feedback.
  • Shape frontend architecture, including component APIs, state management, data fetching, navigation, and rendering performance.
  • Make asynchronous workflows reliable and understandable, including live updates, editing and saving, validation, errors, retries, and recovery.
  • Extend the shared design system across React and Rails, improving consistency, accessibility, and theming.
  • Build Rails models, services, APIs, and background jobs required by product features, partnering with runtime and infrastructure engineers on deeper platform capabilities.
  • Ship meaningful frontend and Rails tests, verify behavior in browsers, add instrumentation, and diagnose and resolve production issues.
  • Contribute to technical decisions, code reviews, mentoring, and reusable engineering patterns.
