About The Position

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Checkbook, you will design, build, and scale the company’s payments platform, working across databases, backend services, APIs, and user interfaces. You will use Python, Postgres, and modern frontend frameworks, and own projects from architecture through launch. Checkbook provides businesses with digital payments that combine the speed, flexibility, and cost savings of digital transactions with the familiarity and simplicity of paper checks. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related discipline.
At least 5 years of experience using Python, Postgres, and frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js, or Ember to build web applications.
Familiarity with Python web frameworks including Flask, FastAPI, and Django.
Ability to translate business requirements into effective software solutions.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to find creative solutions.
