About The Position

The Senior Full Stack Engineer will be working on a custom community platform built for personal development, coaching, courses, community forums, and daily engagement. The product is currently in private beta, with a near term goal of being launch ready by November 13. This is an opportunity to join at an important stage: there’s already a substantial product and codebase, but plenty of meaningful engineering work remains before it is taken public. You’ll work directly with the engineer who designed and built the platform, owning features end to end and helping establish the engineering standards that'll carry into production.

Requirements

  • 5-9+ years of software engineering experience with Nuxt or Vue, Prisma, and PostgreSQL.
  • Proven experience using AI coding agents on a production codebase to improve productivity not replace thinking.
  • Proven systems architecture experience, with a track record of making or significantly influencing structural decisions on production systems.
  • Strong testing expertise, including functional, regression, load, and smoke testing, as well as experience automating test suites.
  • Ability to read, understand, and work within an existing codebase before reaching for a rewrite or redesign.
  • Extremely organized and self sufficient with the ability to work independently in a fast paced environment with changing requirements.
  • Excited to work in a startup environment with a track record of being adaptable to changing priorities in a fluid high growth environment.
  • Proven experience working on entire features, from concept through to production deployment ensuring the feature is built and deployed in a timely fashion.

Responsibilities

  • Own features end to end from data modeling and architecture to building, deploying, and shipping them to customers.
  • Work across the full stack, from building Vue components to writing Postgres queries and integrating Stripe webhooks.
  • Use AI coding agents to accelerate development while maintaining high standards for correctness, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Design, automate, and execute rigorous functional, regression, load, and smoke testing.
  • Identify and communicate technical risks early, while distinguishing genuine engineering concerns from personal preferences.
  • Designing and evolving Prisma schemas and Postgres data models.
  • Working across integrations such as Stripe Connect, LiveKit, Twilio, Zoom, Anthropic, and pgvector.
  • Help manage and grow a Google Apps Script reporting layer.
  • Testing, debugging, and shipping features.
  • Reviewing pull requests and helping maintain a consistent engineering bar.
  • Monitoring production systems and participating in triage and incident resolution.
  • Improving existing code where reliability, maintainability, or performance needs attention.
