About The Position

Build software that makes sure people get paid. PrismHR is the HR, payroll, and benefits platform used by employer-services organizations across the United States, backed by Vensure Employer Solutions — one of North America's largest privately held employer-services companies. You will own features end to end: Angular and TypeScript on the front end, Node.js and Express APIs behind them, data layer underneath. You will lead code reviews, mentor engineers, and work directly with product and QA. A lot of the interesting work is modernization — a mature payroll engine and a modern cloud stack, being joined together without ever dropping a pay run.

Requirements

• 5+ years of strong JavaScript and TypeScript
• Hands-on Node.js or Go
• Real single-page app experience (Angular)
• REST APIs and microservices with Express
• HTML, CSS, SCSS, Git, Docker, CI/CD, Agile
• 8+ years total software experience
• Practical AI-assisted coding tools (Copilot/Claude Code)
• NoSQL or multi-value (PICK) database experience

• Legacy modernization
• HCM or payroll domain knowledge
