About The Position

Solace is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to build and improve its healthcare product. The engineer will independently own product workflows from initial design requirements through deployment, contribute code daily, and regularly deliver work to live users. The role involves solving ambiguous problems, architecting high-quality solutions, and taking responsibility for the details of product development. The engineer will collaborate with fellow engineers and cross-functional product and design partners to build a consumer-oriented experience, improve the user experience, and deliver a product from scratch.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in both frontend and backend development.
• Strong React fundamentals and experience with TypeScript and Node.
• Experience working in a startup environment.
• Strong communication skills to influence product direction and support collaboration.
• Ability to work autonomously, take ownership, and execute decisively.
• An intuitive understanding of creating delightful, consumer-oriented experiences.

Responsibilities

• Analyze product requirements and produce high-quality, production-ready code and user experiences.
• Build and maintain user-facing features across database models and UI components.
• Take ownership and accountability for work throughout the product workflow.
• Collaborate with engineers and product and design partners, and lead initiatives to improve the user experience.
• Create services and APIs for existing and new web-app features.
• Maintain system and codebase health through refactoring and improvements, keeping systems robust and resilient.
• Write clear specifications to support product and code quality and reliable deployment.
• Drive large releases to production on a continuous deployment cadence.
