About The Position

ODAIA delivers AI-powered commercial intelligence for life sciences - unifying data, accelerating results, and helping commercial teams deepen engagement to enhance care for providers and patients. ODAIA's AI platform transforms complex data into predictive, personalized insights, enabling commercial leaders to understand their customers, anticipate prescribing behaviors, and make the informed, strategic decisions that bring therapies to patients faster. We're looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our engineering team! You'll work across the full stack to design, build, and ship features that directly impact how pharma commercial teams engage with healthcare providers. You'll collaborate closely with product, design, and ML engineering to solve complex problems and help bring our AI-powered platform to life. We expect this person to be an active voice in how we plan and build contributing to epics, shaping scope, and bringing engineering perspective into roadmap conversations from the start.

Requirements

6+ years of professional software development experience, with significant ownership across frontend and backend systems and at least one experience leading a project with limited supervision
Deep experience with React and TypeScript, plus a strong grasp of browser fundamentals, state management, and frontend performance
Extensive experience designing and operating APIs or backend services (Python, TypeScript, or similar) under real production load
Strong engineering fundamentals modular design, testing, and maintainable code paired with the judgment to know when simplicity is right and when more rigor is needed
Experience guiding coding AI agents effectively, reviewing generated output, and retaining full ownership of the final implementation
A track record of mentoring engineers and raising the technical bar on a team
A product-oriented mindset and clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

Own significant product capabilities end-to-end from ambiguous problem framing through design, implementation, deployment, and iteration with minimal oversight
Build accessible, data-rich user experiences with React and TypeScript that make complex commercial and healthcare insights clear and actionable
Design and maintain reliable, scalable APIs and backend services connecting ODAIA's data, ML, analytics, and agentic capabilities to customer-facing products
Work across our stack AWS, Kubernetes, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and embedded analytical engines like DuckDB and DataFusion
Use Claude Code and other coding AI agents across the development lifecycle, and help define how the team uses these tools effectively
Lead technical design, code review, and architectural discussions, surfacing risks and trade-offs early
Mentor other engineers and help shape team practices around testing, observability, and code quality
Partner with engineering leadership on technical roadmap decisions and platform investments
