Full Stack Developer, Senior
About The Position
Technica Corporation is seeking a Full Stack Developer, Senior to provide development and operations & maintenance (O&M) support for a production Java application with a Postgres backend and a Tomcat/JBoss application server. The developer will collaborate with both government and contractor teams to support all aspects of application development. The position would be located at a government facility in Washington, D.C. and require work to be performed onsite. Any hybrid work schedule would require customer approval. The government has established policies for on-site vs hybrid work which varies across divisions and contracts. Where allowed, remote work must be coordinated with the team lead and/or government POC, ensuring there is zero interruption with the delivery of our services.
Requirements
- Active Top-Secret with SCI and CI Poly eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
- 8 years of O&M relevant experience.
- Java (JEE Development)
- Javascript/Ajax
- Spring Boot & Spring Data JPA
- Angular 14+
- Postgres
- Tomcat/JBoss

Responsibilities
- Gathering, analyzing, and developing enhancement specifications and requirements based on system owner input.
- Involvement throughout the entire project lifecycle, from development to production support.
- Creating solution architecture for new efforts.
- Creating new working full stack applications.
- Upgrading existing applications to latest versions.
- Improving performance bottlenecks.
