About The Position

Scout Motors is looking to hire a Senior Full Stack Developer to lead the design, development, integration, and support of enterprise-grade web applications, APIs, and real-time digital experiences. This role will focus on architecting and developing scalable frontend and backend solutions, and implementing secure, high-performing, and maintainable full stack applications leveraging modern web technologies and cloud-native development practices. The developer will provide technical leadership and hands-on development across the full application stack, using technologies like React, TypeScript, ASP.NET Core, C#, SignalR, Redis, and PostgreSQL to deliver real-time manufacturing and operational systems. The position involves designing and developing responsive, scalable, and user-centric web applications, architecting reusable UI frameworks, developing real-time dashboards and workflows, and optimizing frontend applications for performance and accessibility. Integration with RESTful APIs, backend microservices, and cloud-native platforms is key, as is establishing frontend coding standards and testing frameworks. Backend development includes designing and maintaining scalable services and APIs, architecting RESTful APIs and microservices, developing secure authentication and authorization frameworks, and implementing real-time communication capabilities. The role also requires designing and optimizing backend processing and database interactions, integrating applications with enterprise systems, and implementing logging, observability, and monitoring frameworks. Preparation of technical design documents, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks, along with weekly status reports and participation in Agile sprint ceremonies, are also part of the responsibilities. This role is based out of Charlotte, NC, requiring 4-5 days per week in the office, with potential for occasional travel.
