Senior Full Stack Developer

As a core member of our Product Development team you will work with dedicated professionals to ensure our clients maintain access to their critical information assets while keeping Citco ahead of industry trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Full Stack Developer responsible for a wide range of tasks – who can work on both the back-end and front-end of systems.
- Minimum of 4 years experience developing web applications using React, Typescript, Javascript and JSON.
- Minimum of 2 years experience developing microservices using Python, NodeJS, Swagger/Open Api 3.
- Strong technical skills in JavaScript UI/UX frameworks (React).
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React and Node.
- Strong programming skills (Python, Javascript).
- Strong knowledge of design patterns.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools and automation platforms to improve software design, code quality, testing, documentation, and delivery efficiency.
- Experience using REST based or GraphQL APIs from single page applications.
- Understanding of authentication and authorization aspects for APIs.
- Good understanding of package managers (npm, pip).
- Working knowledge of Docker.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
- Well rounded individual capable of performing several roles with ability to work in a fast paced, complex IT environment.
- Possess a strong work ethic, self-starter, creative, a focus on customer service, possess a high level of energy, enthusiasm, excellent written and verbal communication and people skills, sense of urgency, team player, strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and commitment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in interpersonal and communication skills including oral and written English.
Nice To Haves
- Any formal Cloud based training and any industry cloud related industry accredited certification is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain web applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in APIs.
- Maintain working knowledge of technical enhancements and new functionality.
- Learn, adapt, test/evaluate, and implement new technologies.
- Write and execute unit & integration tests.
- Coordinate with the release engineers to release new features and bug fixes into higher environments.
- Provide technical documentation for APIs.
- Perform code reviews and ensure code quality.
- Communicate effectively with peers and leads.
- Participate and contribute on all team activities such as sprint planning, daily scrums, and retrospectives.
