About The Position

Verisk Catastrophe Risk Solutions is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to build modern, cloud-based analytical applications addressing real-world problems. In this agile engineering role, the developer contributes across the full stack by designing scalable services, building intuitive user experiences, and evolving high-performance solutions used to model and manage extreme event risk. The production stack is .NET, Angular, and AWS, with an emphasis on strong engineering fundamentals, adaptability, and growth within an AI-forward development culture. The role works in a collaborative, team-driven environment with a flexible hybrid work model. Requirements

BS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience; an MS is preferred.
At least 4 years of commercial-grade full-stack software development experience.
Deep understanding of frontend UI, backend business logic, scalability, frameworks, and performance optimization.
Competency or expertise in C#, Angular, PostgreSQL, and Python, or strongly translatable enterprise languages.
Excellent debugging and code review habits, with the ability to reverse-engineer logic and identify flaws in unfamiliar codebases.
Must be a US Citizen, Green Card holder, or qualify for an H-1B visa transfer.

Responsibilities

Design and build robust backend REST services and responsive Angular frontends using clean, maintainable architecture.
Translate complex requirements and system architecture into working software.
