About The Position
PayFacto is a fast-growing fintech company delivering fully integrated POS and payment solutions to restaurants, hotels, and bars. Our SaaS platforms power mission-critical operations for thousands of merchants every day. We are looking for an exceptional Senior Full Stack Developer to play a key role in building and evolving our next-generation cloud platform. We are a team of champions, and we're looking for someone of the same caliber — a developer with a proven track record on customer-facing SaaS products who has completely reinvented the way they work around AI. This role is ideal for a highly experienced engineer who wants to own meaningful product areas, influence technical direction, and help build a modern, scalable architecture from the frontend all the way to the backend. The frontend remains at the heart of this role: you will work primarily on complex, high-volume Vue 3 applications. But your scope goes beyond the interface — you will also build our backend APIs and services in Go, within our cloud infrastructure, in close collaboration with product and design teams. Vue + Go is our stack, and we're looking for someone who is strong on both sides of it. We are an AI-first organization. We are not looking for someone who has "tried a few AI tools": we want a developer who has fundamentally transformed how they design, code, test, and ship using AI — and who can bring the whole team up to that level.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software development experience, including significant full stack experience
- Deep expertise in Vue.js 3 (Composition API, reactivity system, lifecycle, performance)
- Strong track record building customer-facing, high-traffic or business-critical cloud SaaS products
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML, and modern CSS
- Strong backend experience in Go (APIs, services, databases) — the Vue + Go combination is at the core of this role
- AI-first developer: you have rebuilt your workflow around AI — coding agents, AI-assisted workflows, automation — and can demonstrate it, not just talk about it
- Solid understanding of advanced concepts: state management, performance, architecture, testability
- Comfortable working in Agile, product-driven environments
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Vue 2 and Vue 2 → Vue 3 migrations
- Backend experience with PHP, Laravel, or Symfony
- Experience with design systems, UI libraries, or design tokens
- Deep familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- CI/CD experience
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain complex frontend applications using Vue 3
- Build our backend APIs and services in Go for our cloud SaaS platform
- Drive full stack architecture decisions (component structure, state management, performance, services, integrations)
- Translate complex product requirements into clean, high-performing, customer-facing user interfaces
- Optimize performance, accessibility, and overall UX
- Champion AI-first development: embed AI tools and workflows across the entire development lifecycle (design, code, testing, review, delivery)
- Raise engineering standards through code reviews, mentoring, and best practices
- Contribute to engineering tooling, testing strategy, and CI/CD pipelines
