About The Position
Our client is seeking a Senior Full-Stack AI Engineer who combines strong software engineering fundamentals with hands-on experience building AI/ML solutions. The ideal candidate has a background in full-stack application development and Data Science, with recent experience developing and integrating AI/ML capabilities into production applications. This position will be based in Paramus, NJ with 2/3 days per week onsite.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software engineering/development experience.
- 2–3+ years of hands-on AI/ML engineering experience.
- Strong full-stack development experience — both backend and frontend.
- Strong Python development skills.
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks and libraries and deploying models into applications.
- Data Science experience, including data preparation, analysis, modeling and evaluation.
- Experience building APIs and AI-enabled applications.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, development lifecycle, testing and deployment.
- Experience working with cloud platforms and modern development practices.
Nice To Haves
- Generative AI / LLM experience.
- Experience with RAG, embeddings, vector databases or AI agents.
- Experience with Azure/AWS.
- Experience with React, Angular or another modern frontend framework.
- Experience with SQL and modern data platforms.
- CI/CD, Docker and Kubernetes experience.
