About The Position

Loopscale is seeking a versatile Senior Frontend Software Engineer to help us build the future of on-chain capital markets. While this role is open to all engineering backgrounds, the ideal candidate is multidisciplinary and seeking a role at the intersection of product design and software engineering. This is a senior role where you will have the autonomy to guide product direction and lead the end-to-end development of new features at a pivotal point ahead of our public launch. We are headquartered in New York City. This role requires working full-time from our New York City office. About Loopscale Loopscale is on a mission to unlock economic opportunity by building the next generation of capital markets on efficient, open networks. Our flagship product, a new lending primitive on Solana, introduces a new paradigm in on-chain credit. Loopscale unlocks billions of dollars of liquidity for native-staked tokens, liquidity positions, and more. We are a New York-based startup founded by a team of crypto-natives that has launched products with over $100M of on-chain volume. We are backed by Coinbase, Jump, Coinfund, and Solana Ventures.

Requirements

3+ years of software engineering experience and demonstrable proficiency in writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
Experience in client-side React/Typescript application development and architecture.
Excellent system design and debugging skills.
Familiarity with backend frameworks and software (e.g., REST APIs, MySQL, GCP)
Strong communication skills with the ability to operate with ambiguous requirements and find innovative solutions

Nice To Haves

Interest in a hybrid product designer and developer role, collaborating cross-functionality to lead the design and development of Loopscale product interfaces
A strong portfolio of design work and familiarity with design tools such as Figma.
Understanding of blockchain development, particularly the Solana client-side stack (e.g. wallet providers, Solana Token Program).
Familiarity with common blockchain app user experience and product flows

Responsibilities

Rapidly implement functional UI elements from designs, with an eye toward performance and accessibility
Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve application software, collaborating with the product team and external partners throughout the development cycle, from ideation to production.
Implement and uphold coding standards, with a focus on extensibility, maintainability, and comprehensive testing.
