Role Overview: We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our growing Engineering team. We are currently a team of 50 people formed by engineering and data. At Qualifyze, software engineering is more than just writing code, it’s about shaping the future. We’re looking for engineers who understand that every line they write contributes to tomorrow’s legacy. On our team, you’ll focus on shortening feedback loops, building scalable solutions, and maintaining clear communication with the business. You’ll champion clean architectures, solid testing strategies, and domain-driven design principles to ensure we deliver real value, every step of the way.

Requirements

• Proficient frontend engineer.
• Advanced proficiency in React and TypeScript.
• Extensive experience building scalable frontend applications.
• Experience building and maintaining Design Systems.
• Comprehensive knowledge of modern CSS approaches.
• Deep understanding of accessibility (WCAG) and responsive design.
• Experience with frontend testing and Storybook.
• Pragmatic approach to technical solutions.
• Skilled in clean architectures , industry best practices, and frontend patterns.
• Experience integrating with APIs (REST / GraphQL).
• Comfortable working in an international environment with daily communication in English.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Next.js
• Exposure with microfrontends
• Experience working with Storybook as a documentation and collaboration tool

Responsibilities

• Drive frontend architecture , component design, and technical decisions across teams, ensuring high-quality delivery and industry best practices.
• Ensure the evolution and adaptation of the design system (reusable components, design tokens, theming, and documentation).
• Navigate and resolve complex frontend challenges within large-scale projects, or spearhead smaller projects independently.
• Partner closely with product managers, UX, backend engineers, SREs, and QA to deliver cohesive user experiences.
• Translate product and design requirements into scalable, maintainable, and accessible UI solutions.
• Uphold high standards of quality through comprehensive testing (unit, integration, etc.).
• Optimize frontend performance (bundle size, rendering, and network efficiency).
• Guide peers and facilitate pragmatic decision-making , balancing UX, performance, and business priorities with technical needs.
• Follow, contribute to, and ensure adherence to the team’s working agreements.
• Work autonomously , taking full responsibility for stories, programming, and coordinating tasks without external assistance.
