Senior Front-End Developer - Onsite at Fort Belvoir, VA (Top Secret/SCI and CI Poly is Required)
About The Position
Booker DiMaio is seeking an experienced Senior Front-End Developer to support a mission-critical Federal Intelligence Community program. This position is responsible for designing and developing secure, responsive, and intuitive web applications that enable mission-critical operations within a highly classified environment. The ideal candidate has extensive experience building modern user interfaces, developing interactive data visualizations, and creating responsive web applications using today's leading front-end technologies. This individual will work closely with back-end developers and other engineering teams to deliver secure, high-performance applications while helping mentor junior developers.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related technical discipline.
- 8+ years of professional front-end development experience.
- Strong experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
- Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, responsive web design, and modern JavaScript.
- Experience using front-end build tools such as Webpack, Babel, npm, or Yarn.
- Experience integrating applications with RESTful APIs.
- Experience working with data visualization libraries and developing interactive dashboards.
- Strong understanding of web application security and secure front-end development practices.
- Experience developing applications within secure or highly regulated environments.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience supporting Intelligence Community or Department of Defense programs.
- Experience with UX/UI design principles and user-centered development.
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Experience using automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards and accessible application development.
- Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, MobX, or Vuex.
- Experience developing GraphQL applications.
- Experience with Server-Side Rendering (SSR) or Static Site Generation (SSG) frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop modern, responsive, and secure web-based user interfaces.
- Build interactive dashboards and data visualization components to support mission-critical operations.
- Develop responsive web applications optimized for desktop and field users.
- Implement secure authentication, authorization, and role-based access control interfaces.
- Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and back-end services.
- Collaborate with back-end developers and cross-functional engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Conduct usability testing and continuously improve application performance and user experience.
- Ensure applications meet security standards, accessibility requirements, and front-end development best practices while mentoring junior developers.
