Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience on FPGA development including VHDL logic design, simulation, and testing on hardware.
  • Circuit board and FPGA troubleshooting experience
  • Ability to operate lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters.
  • Demonstrated skills in proactively identifying, facilitating and driving closure of a product/program
  • Design experience with Altera’s Quartus Design Software
  • Design experience with QuestaSim
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop VHDL code to support FPGA-based designs; be proficient in simulating and debugging design in code and on circuit board
  • Write detailed technical design documentation and test procedures.
  • Test and verify designs to ensure that they meet specifications and requirements.
  • Model, build, test, and modify product prototypes using working models or theoretical models constructed with simulation
