About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • 3–5+ years of demonstrated Finance and/or Accounting experience.
  • Experience in corporate budgeting or financial planning and analysis.
  • Strong grounding in corporate finance, financial modeling and/or retail lease economics; ability to translate data into actionable insights for senior leadership.
  • High technical aptitude with advanced Microsoft Excel skills and comfort in budgeting/forecasting tools (e.g., MRI and B&F).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical/problem-solving skills; ability to work cross-functionally across levels.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and effective under tight deadlines.
  • Highly motivated strategic problem solver who can see the big picture while navigating ambiguity and uncertainty.

Responsibilities

  • Build the revenue plan and forecasts: Partner with key stakeholders to develop the annual plan and monthly forecasts in line with corporate planning and forecasting guidelines.
  • Enhance forecasting processes and models: Refine existing forecasting processes/ models and evaluate current tools and deliverables for effectiveness and ease of use.
  • Deliver insights that drive action: Develop analytics and ad hoc reporting that provide important insights into the business, including scenario and variance analysis across comparative periods, accounts, and properties.
  • Own the narrative: Prepare reporting and analysis delivering crisp variance storytelling with clear explanations of variances versus forecast, budget, and prior periods.
  • Support quarter-end and earnings preparation: Contribute to quarter-end close support and quarterly earnings call preparation, including executive-ready analysis and materials.
  • Lead process improvements (automation-minded): Recognize opportunities for process improvements—such as improved use of tools, process automation, report consolidation/enhancements, and improved communication/data hand-offs—and help drive them forward.
  • Become a go-to resource across systems: Learn and master multiple financial systems and processes to provide support and training as needed.
  • Build trust and credibility: Establish credibility through respectful, thoughtful engagement, strong attention to detail, professional integrity, and financial insight.
