About The Position

As our growth continues to accelerate, we're looking for a high caliber FP&A leader to join our finance team. Reporting directly to the Director of FP&A, you’ll head up our management reporting operation and play a key role in ensuring we’re set up to meet our strategic goals. We are looking for a candidate with a strong sense of initiative, keen eye for detail, and an ability to find solutions in the face of ambiguity. The Senior FP&A Manager will translate complex and nuanced financial results into actionable insights, partnering directly with business leaders to drive sound financial decisions. This role will champion the integrity and efficiency of our financial systems and data across the broader business and senior management.

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • 7+ years of experience working in an FP&A role (preferably with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or management capacity)
  • Experience with Google Suite, Looker, OneStream or other BI platforms/EPM systems
  • Experience working for a P&C Insurance provider preferable, but not required
  • Experience managing team of analysts preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Financial Planning & Analysis function (60% time allocation): Prepare and present clear, insightful financial performance reports with the broader business, our leadership team, and board
  • Own the consolidation and presentation of our annual operating budget and ongoing forecasts
  • Support the Director of FP&A and VP of Finance in preparing scenario planning models and conducting sensitivity analysis to evaluate financial outcomes under various assumptions
  • Serve as the go-to finance partner for our support and shared service teams (like People, Legal, Engineering, etc), helping them with expense variance analysis and capitalization assessments
  • Partner with Data & Analytics team and other business functions to define and implement new metrics and KPIs as needed, ensuring measurability against our key financial levers
  • Manage the ongoing development, daily priorities, and work allocation of senior analyst on the team
  • Serve as the US Finance lead in delivering operational improvements related to our FP&A systems & data processes (20% time allocation): Collaborate with the Global Finance Change team to implement and optimize our Enterprise Performance Management system (OneStream) and associated data infrastructure
  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of financial data across all systems used for reporting and analysis
  • Identify and implement “quick wins” to automate financial reporting, consolidate data sources, and streamline planning processes leveraging AI and other suitable technology
  • Partner with senior functional leaders as required, ensuring operational decisions are aligned to our short and long term financial objectives (20% time allocation)
