We invite you to consider a career with our special company. Summary of Position This position will be an onsite role. Reporting to the VP of Finance, we are seeking a Senior Pricing and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join our growing finance team. In this key role, the Senior Analyst will lead the development and implementation of pricing strategies, manage pricing models, and partner with cross-functional teams to optimize profitability. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for financial planning and analysis, providing data-driven insights, forecasts, and strategic recommendations that support decision-making at all levels of the organization. This role will play a crucial role in supporting company objectives through financial analysis, strategic planning, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities, a deep understanding of pricing strategies and financial modeling, commercial and operational acumen, and the ability to influence and drive financial performance effectively across departments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably with a focus in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field of study.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, pricing, financial analysis, FP&A, or a related analytical role.
  • Strong experience with pricing strategy, pricing analysis, financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Relevant experience in a similar position within a manufacturing environment is strongly desired.
  • Food and beverage, or general manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Cost accounting experience preferred, including exposure to cost structure, margin expectations, product profitability, and operational cost drivers.
  • Experience developing, automating, and producing regular reporting, including data modeling and visualization.
  • Experience preparing materials for presentations to and working with senior management.
  • Strong understanding of costing and pricing principles, competitive analysis, pricing tools, and pricing governance.
  • Advanced analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills that enable strategic data interpretation.
  • Commercial and operational acumen with the ability to connect pricing decisions to revenue, margin, profitability, and customer outcomes.
  • Self-motivated, highly driven, proactive, and hands-on strategic thinker with a high standard of accuracy, precision, and organization.
  • Strong cross-functional relationship builder with the ability to influence and drive financial performance effectively across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and optimize pricing strategies to maximize revenue, margins, and overall profitability.
  • Perform detailed pricing analysis to assess market trends, competitor pricing, customer willingness to pay, and business performance.
  • Work closely with procurement, sales, marketing, R&D, and operations teams to assess customer needs and ensure alignment of pricing with business objectives.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on the pricing process, including cost structure, margin expectations, and customer relations.
  • Evaluate market, customer, and competitor developments and adjust pricing strategies as needed.
  • Design and implement tools for ongoing pricing governance, including price setting, approval workflows, and compliance.
  • Recommend and implement improvements in pricing processes, tools, reporting, and margin analysis.
  • Develop pricing proposals for new products, services, promotions, and customer opportunities.
  • Assist in leading the annual strategic planning and budgeting processes and ongoing financial forecasting to ensure alignment with corporate goals and objectives.
  • Prepare detailed financial models to project future performance, revenue, and costs based on different pricing scenarios and market conditions.
  • Create and update financial forecasts, assessing the impact of business decisions and external factors.
  • Monitor key financial metrics, including revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, profitability, and working capital drivers.
  • Provide recommendations to senior management on areas for improvement, profit expansion, market share gains, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Work closely with internal departments to monitor and understand budget to actual performance, identify trends, and offer actionable insights.
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting for senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and evaluate business cases and ROI analyses for proposed investments, initiatives, and operational changes.
  • Analyze financial performance and provide insights on variances, trends, and key performance indicators.
  • Prepare financial reports that highlight business opportunities, risks, and recommended actions.
  • Assess and recommend improvements to financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities.
  • Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, approval controls, and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the accuracy and integrity of financial records, pricing documentation, forecasts, and reporting.
