About The Position

We are seeking a qualified Senior FP&A Analyst to join our office in Reston, Virginia. Applicants selected must be willing and able to obtain a Security Clearance; therefore, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related business discipline.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of related finance, planning and analysis.
  • Candidate must be reliable, detail-oriented and have the ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and produce results.
  • Strong attention to detail, goal setting and goal attainment
  • Excellent communication/interpersonal skills, high energy, results oriented, a desire to have a positive impact, and project management skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to succinctly brief executive leadership.
  • Strong budgeting, financial reporting, sales and performance analysis skills.
  • Effective management skills including corporate/multi-division operations, resolving complex and non-routine accounting and financial issues.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and work effectively across functions, willing to lead by example and through mentoring.
  • Unequivocal business acumen, ethics and integrity.
  • Team player
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and PowerPoint
  • U.S. citizenship is required for this position.

  • Costpoint experience preferred
  • Forecasting systems experience preferred
  • Expert Excel experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage the financial activities of a mid-sized government services provider
  • Evaluate business processes to establish complex financial models
  • Serve as the principal point of contact on all FP&A matters
  • Provide Executive Management with monthly and annual financial analysis and reporting to ensure costs are controlled and profits are maximized
  • Oversee various financial functions such as budgeting, auditing, forecasting and analysis
  • Conduct audits and analysis of organization’s costs and review practices and procedures
  • Develop and administer program budgets and financial plans. Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as DFAR, SOX and other government regulations
  • Participate in the preparation and review of cost proposals and contract modifications
  • Plan and estimate financial performance and implement internal controls and operation procedures
  • Create, maintain and update financial databases and spreadsheets and generate various financial reports as required
  • Assist in the development of financial policies and guidelines and support managers with the definition of operational goals and strategies and managing resource strategies
  • Assist program managers with the preparation, renewal and revision of contract approval documents and other program documents
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, policies and procedures
  • Participate in special projects as required
  • Reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer
