Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Forklift Technician, Field Service Technician, Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Technician, Equipment Mechanic, or Industrial Maintenance Technician
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Experience with hydraulic systems, electrical systems, engines, drivetrains, and industrial equipment
  • Ability to read schematics and technical documentation
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in industrial environments

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, maintain, and support a wide range of material handling and industrial equipment throughout the assigned territory.
  • Work directly with customers.
  • Solve complex mechanical challenges.
  • Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting.
  • Repair hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and powertrain systems.
  • Complete preventative maintenance inspections.
  • Conduct safety inspections and equipment evaluations.
  • Document service activity and repair recommendations.
  • Communicate directly with customers regarding equipment condition and repair solutions.
  • Manage service calls efficiently within the assigned territory.
  • Support and mentor junior technicians when needed.
  • Maintain exceptional customer service and professionalism.
