About The Position

The iconic Waldorf Astoria is seeking a Senior Food & Beverage Manager to join the leadership team at the award-winning Las Vegas property! Located in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip, this luxurious hotel has 389 rooms, 6 food and beverage outlets, and 12,000 square feet of meeting space. This includes a 3-meal restaurant, fine dining restaurant, tea lounge, bar, pool cafe, and in-room dining. At Waldorf Astoria, we create unforgettable experiences for our guests, meaningful opportunities for our Team Members, and a positive impact in our community. In this role, you will oversee the operations of Hard Shake and Peacock Alley primarily and assist in other outlets as needed. You will report to the Director of Food & Beverage and manage 1 Beverage Manager, 1 Assistant F&B Manager, and around 40 hourly team members.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of food & beverage management experience
  • Experience leading other managers
  • Experience running multi-outlet operations

  • Experience managing a unionized team
  • Background in luxury hotels/resorts or fine dining restaurants

Responsibilities

  • Directs and organizes the activities of the Food & Beverage departments to maintain the high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service.
  • Plans and directs the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation.
  • Implements effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs.
  • Ensures compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards.
  • Helps ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service.
  • Interviews, trains, supervises, counsels, schedules and evaluates staff.
