Requirements

  • Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Aerospace Engineering or a related field
  • Strong background in flight test engineering, aircraft systems, or performance evaluation
  • Proven experience working in regulated aerospace environments
  • Solid knowledge of certification and airworthiness processes
  • Ability to translate operational needs into structured, compliant technical solutions
  • Fluent in French and English

  • Experience in flight test process improvement with focus on processes
  • Familiarity with flight test data systems, instrumentation strategies, and analysis frameworks
  • Knowledge of certification standards (CS-25 / FAR-25) and authority interactions
  • Experience across multiple aircraft programs (civil, military, or derivatives)

Responsibilities

  • Provide deep technical expertise in flight test engineering, aircraft systems, and flight mechanics
  • Support flight test campaigns through methodology definition rather than direct day-to-day mission execution
  • Act as a reference point for complex or non-standard test cases
  • Lead the revamp, harmonization, and standardization of flight test processes across programs
  • Develop and evolve flight test methodologies to improve safety, efficiency, and data quality
  • Identify gaps, redundancies, and inefficiencies in existing test practices and propose improvements
  • Drive the adoption of best practices across aircraft programs and flight test domains
  • Define and deploy modern flight test tools (planning, instrumentation, data acquisition, analysis, reporting)
  • Support digital transformation initiatives (e.g., model-based approaches, automation, digital twins)
  • Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to ensure tools are fit-for-purpose and certification-ready
  • Establish clear governance for tool qualification, usage, and configuration control
  • Ensure all methodologies, tools, and processes comply with EASA / FAA certification frameworks
  • Maintain alignment with CS-25 / FAR-25 and internal airworthiness requirements
  • Support audits, certification reviews, and authority interactions related to flight test activities
  • Ensure traceability, data integrity, and documentation rigor throughout the test lifecycle
  • Interface with Design Offices, Flight Test Operations, Chief Engineers, and Program Management
  • Support change management and stakeholder alignment across international and multidisciplinary teams
  • Mentor and technically support flight test engineers on methodologies and best practices
