About The Position
SOLVERE is seeking a Flight Test Engineer that will serve as the primary engineering counterpart to the Flight Test Pilot. This role is responsible for the rigorous technical planning, airborne data acquisition, and post-flight engineering analysis aspects of the test program.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in technical field.
- 2 years’ experience in technical field.
- One (1) year experience with planning and conducting tests.
- Security Clearance: Active Secret
Responsibilities
- Draft detailed ground and flight test plans, instrumentation plans, and test cards that trace directly back to system capability requirements.
- Operate complex Data Acquisition Systems (DAS), telemetry, and test instrumentation hardware in-flight to capture critical aircraft parameters.
- Perform post-flight data reduction, statistical analysis, and engineering evaluation of flight test data.
- Author comprehensive, formal technical test reports detailing test methodologies, findings, system deficiencies, and airworthiness recommendations.
- Represent APAC test and evaluation interests at Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs), Preliminary/Critical Design Reviews (PDR/CDR), and Safety Review Boards (SRB).
