About The Position

AIR Communities is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their fast-paced FP&A Team at their corporate headquarters in Denver, CO. This is an in-office, on-site five days per week opportunity. The role involves helping leaders understand the business and make better decisions through data analysis and presentation, contributing to problem diagnosis and project implementation, executing month-end accounting and financial processes, supporting forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning, and preparing financial reports for the executive team. The position also encourages continuous learning and skill development.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field
5+ years of progressive corporate finance experience with an extensive understanding of financial concepts, processes, modeling best practices and financial systems.
Expert proficiency in Excel and comfort building complex models.

Nice To Haves

experience presenting to senior leaders
strong financial writing skills
Adaptive Insights Planning system experience
A background in FP&A is preferred
experience in accounting and real estate being beneficial, but not required
Experience in SQL, Power BI, Blue Prism, Power Apps, Python, Machine Learning, Microsoft Flow, VBA are all great skills to bring to the team

Responsibilities

Help our leaders understand the business and make better decisions by collecting, analyzing, and presenting information
Make the business better by contributing to diagnosis of complex problems, and the development and implementation of projects to solve them
Keep the business running with crisp execution of our month end accounting and financial processes
Illuminate the road ahead with support for monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and multi-year strategic planning including analysis and management of Corporate Treasury and debt
Support AIR’s financial reporting by preparing and explaining monthly operational and financial reports for executive team
