About The Position

Central Maine Healthcare is an integrated healthcare delivery system serving 400,000 people living in central, western and Midcoastal Maine. CMH's hospital facilities include Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Bridgton Hospital and Rumford Hospital. CMH also supports Central Maine Medical Group, a primary and specialty care practice organization. Other system services include the Central Maine Heart and Vascular Institute, a regional trauma program, LifeFlight of Maine's southern Maine base, the Central Maine Comprehensive Cancer Center and other high-quality clinical services. Reporting under the Hospital CFO – Revenue & Reporting, this position will be a key team member. The Sr. Financial Reimbursement Analyst will work on various projects, ad hoc request, and monthly/quarterly/annual reviews and analysis around revenue cycle, reimbursements, and financial reporting. The Sr. Financial Reimbursement Analyst will also work with those in Corporate Finance, including hospital Controllers and CFOs, Legal, Managed Care, and Health Plan Operations. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or three years of equivalent experience in Business Administration with emphasis on Accounting.
  • Experience in preparation of financial statements or models.
  • Experience working with Excel (v-lookups, sumif, sumproduct, indirect, etc..)
  • 2 years of revenue cycle analytical experience with hospital systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Public Accountant preferred.
  • Audit experience preferred.
