About The Position

Larson Financial Group, LLC is seeking a Senior Financial Planner to join its team in the Houston, Texas area. The role works closely with clients to help them achieve their financial goals by preparing and leading client meetings, developing tailored financial plans, and delivering a high-touch, concierge-style client experience. The Senior Financial Planner collaborates with advisors and internal teams to support client satisfaction while developing expertise and career growth in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in financial planning.
• Series 7 and 66 licenses required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Familiarity with the insurance and financial services industry.
• Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce and financial planning software such as eMoney or MoneyGuidePro.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build trust in person, virtually, and by phone.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Professionalism in appearance, attitude, and work ethic.
• Adaptability, proactivity, and comfort working in a dynamic environment.
• Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and follow through.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding regulatory standards.

• CFP or CPA designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for and lead client meetings.
• Collect and organize client data to build financial plans.
• Construct insurance illustrations and financial scenarios.
• Communicate investment recommendations in collaboration with the advisory team.
• Track planning process milestones and follow up on action items.
• Deliver proactive, high-quality service to retain top clients.
• Maintain accurate data in CRM and financial planning software.
• Create thoughtful client touches to cultivate referrals.
• Manage onboarding and ongoing client service processes.
• Resolve client inquiries and provide trusted support.
