About The Position

As a Senior Financial Analyst – Financial Planning & Analysis, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and insightfulness of financial performance for Givaudan’s North America Taste and Wellbeing region. Working closely with business leadership, you will oversee closing activities, manage reporting and deliver timely performance analysis that guide strategic decisions. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 3 to 5 years of FP&A or corporate finance, ideally within a multinational environment with understanding of P&L management, revenue recognition, and budgeting.
  • Technical expertise in SAP and BI tools with strong Microsoft Excel skillset. Experience building financial driver-based P&L model preferred.
  • A collaborative mindset with strong communication skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, analytical capability, and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Support month end process including journal entries and reclassifications, data validation and accuracy that supports regional financial reporting
  • Own consolidated financial reporting including customer, segment, and business unit performance drivers, and product and margin analysis
  • Consolidate monthly and quarterly results analysis into clear, actionable summaries for senior leadership review, and support monthly and quarterly business reviews with senior management team.
  • Own financial regional forecasting model, process and consolidation of key assumptions including risk and opportunities. Coordinate with North America regional leadership and global FP&A to meet deliverables on time.
  • Coordinate with department heads to understand cost drivers and ensure accurate forecast with focus on headcount and T&E spending.
  • Provides backup support for weekly operational forecasting activities, ensuring accuracy, continuity, and timely updates in the absence of the primary owner.
  • Co-lead the annual budgeting process, including bottom-up departmental budgets.
  • Coordinate and validate data integrity between cost center reports, consolidation models, and corporate templates.
  • Support variance analyses and manage communication of budget deliverables.
  • Drive continuous improvements in reporting and SAP data processes, ensure adherence to Givaudan’s internal controls and reporting standards, including backup support for validation and maintenance of customer, segment and business unit master data
  • Assist in R&D expense reviews and revenue recognition validations according to defined internal controls guidelines
  • Provides backup support for managing the regional finance email inbox, ensuring timely responses and effective communication during absences or peak workload periods.
