About The Position

The Senior Analyst, Enterprise FP&A is the primary execution owner for Alterra’s enterprise planning cycle and the technical steward of the consolidated financial model. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Enterprise FP&A, this role runs budget, forecast, and the 5-Year Long Range Planning process end to end, and leads the analytical work behind executive, board, and investor materials. It is a highly visible seat for a senior analyst who wants ownership of the numbers that shape our iconic destinations and the Ikon Pass, and the opportunity to see the impact of that work on the mountain.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate development, private equity, and/or investment banking
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and executive presence skills
  • Outstanding analytical skills with ability to synthesize information, develop insights and communicate effectively in presentations and in person meetings
  • Strong communication skills, with experience collaborating with senior leadership in a cross-functional capacity
  • Deep curiosity and passion for understanding and analyzing financial results with a focus on creating shareholder value
  • Professional/lived experience working in a culturally competent manner with a broad range of people.

Nice To Haves

  • CMA, CFA or MBA with a focus on finance

Responsibilities

  • Lead the quarterly earnings call process, including material preparation and external stakeholder engagement.
  • Deliver monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reporting to equity investors and the board of directors, ensuring a clear narrative of enterprise performance.
  • Support the enterprise budget process through ownership of key models & analysis.
  • Lead the monthly and quarterly reporting process, driving disciplined consolidation, variance analysis, and forward-looking risks and opportunities.
  • Own the 5-Year Long Range Plan modeling used to inform capex prioritization, capital structure considerations, and strategic initiatives.
  • Drive visibility and accountability to business results through in-season performance reviews and monthly reporting.
  • Deliver competitive benchmarking and industry analysis that contextualizes performance and informs enterprise strategy.
  • Identify and drive initiatives to continuously improve and streamline processes.
