Position Summary Reporting to the Assistant Controller, the Senior Financial Analyst plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial reporting within a fast-growing, multi-site, multi-currency organization. This role is primarily focused on balance sheet integrity, reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting accuracy, while also supporting process improvement initiatives across the accounting function. The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting and analytical skills, with a solid understanding of financial systems and controls. They thrive in a dynamic environment and are comfortable working with complexity across multiple entities and currencies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3–6+ years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or related roles
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting (US GAAP knowledge an asset)
  • Experience with balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close processes
  • Experience in a multi-currency and multi-entity environment strongly preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/accounting systems
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial reporting
  • Process improvement mindset with interest in enhancing accounting systems and workflows
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and other month-end adjustments
  • Perform and maintain balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely resolution of outstanding items
  • Support balance sheet integrity across multiple entities and currencies
  • Ensure accuracy of financial reporting outputs through detailed review and validation of financial data
  • Assist in managing multi-currency accounting processes, including currency conversion and related adjustments
  • Support month-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate financial results
  • Work closely with the Assistant Controller to improve accounting processes, controls, and reconciliation frameworks
  • Identify and support implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and automation within accounting workflows
  • Collaborate with FP&A and Accounting teams to ensure consistency and integrity of financial data
  • Assist with audit requests and documentation as required
