Senior Financial Analyst (Card OpEx Central)
About The Position
As Capital One grows and scales, the OpEx Central team becomes increasingly important to drive increased visibility to our leadership into how we are managing our expenses, continuously improving our efficiency, and integrating Discover and Brex into our organization. This role will support the Card OpEx Central team in Card Finance, with a focus on quarterly reporting, allocations, and the NPV memo process. As a Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), you will be responsible for driving financial insights through quarterly deliverables (Quarterly Financial Review, Segment Financial Review, and Goodwill Memo) in addition to working closely with other team members to support our allocations and NPV Memo processes. This role requires strong analytical, communication and problem solving skills in order to effectively: Conduct analysis and drive actionable insights Develop presentations to senior audiences to communicate insights and to influence both business and financial outcomes Partner with Finance teams to develop a financial narrative for our leaders Foster strong relationships across FP&A
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
- At least 2 years’ experience in financial analysis
- At least 2 years’ experience with financial modeling
Nice To Haves
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Master’s Degree in Finance
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) license or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
- 3+ years’ experience in financial analysis
- 3+ years’ experience with financial modeling
- 1+ years’ experience in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
