About The Position

Investment Planning Counsel (IPC) is one of Canada's leading independent wealth management firms. In November 2023, Canada Life acquired IPC. As a senior M&A Analyst, you will be responsible for end-to-end modelling, post-close activities and presentation materials. Along with ad hoc analysis as required.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of finance, management consulting, M&A or corporate strategy experience
  • Experience with accounting/finance/planning/P&L roles highly preferred, with ability to do financial modeling
  • Ability to use AI-powered tools to gather insights, analyze data, and support day to day strategy activities
  • Experience independently managing workstreams and outputs
  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics preferred
  • Strong business acumen, with demonstrated aptitude for strategic, analytical and critical thinking
  • Expert in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, PowerBI
  • Excellent analytical skills, including financial analysis, research and complex modeling
