This role provides financial support and analysis on US CEM consolidated and corporate region results, forecasts and plans. It involves the timely compilation of reporting and analysis to assist business leaders in making informed decisions. The analyst will collaborate with other functions to ensure the completeness and accuracy of financial data and work with Logistics VP, Supply Chain Managers, and other functions to ensure reported results, forecasts, and plans are accurate, and variance is communicated and understood.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree
  • 3 years working in finance and/or accounting
  • Advanced Excel Skills Required.
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit test.

Nice To Haves

  • Masters degree
  • Business preferred, with emphasis in accounting and/or finance
  • SAP, SAC experience is a plus
  • Experience of working in large decentralized manufacturing organization, with reporting under US GAAP/SOX a distinct benefit.

Responsibilities

  • Provide corporate finance with information necessary to support corporate-level analysis and benchmarking initiatives.
  • Analyze financial plan data to identify potential risks and opportunities, and present findings along with proposed actions to senior management for review and decision making.
  • Provide qualitative and quantitative economic assessments on key company initiatives and projects to assist management in decision-making, including (but not limited to) Internal Rate of Return (IRR) and Economic Value Added (EVA) valuations.
  • Support the preparation of financial and operational reports and analysis to assist the business decision-making process.
  • Assist and support all financial planning activities, including monthly, quarterly, annual and long-term planning.
  • Analyze complex financial scenarios to provide detailed insight into business drivers and potential value creation opportunities; this may require gathering and interpreting of marketing, logistics, manufacturing, and system (SAP) data. Present findings to management.
  • Assist with the compilation and preparation of information required to support internal and external quarterly and annual reporting requirements.
  • Supporting commercial analytics and reporting.
  • Involvement in distribution cost, terminal spend, and other logistics benchmarking activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.
