About The Position

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Financial Analyst (FGP) - Manhattan, Radiology. In this role, the successful candidate is responsible for delivering financial, operational, and analytical insights to support decision-making across the Dept of Radiology. The Analyst will generate, analyze, and communicate data-driven findings to leadership, with a focus on financial performance, operational efficiency, and revenue optimization. This position sits at the intersection of finance, analytics, and operations supporting initiatives across financial reporting, dashboard development, and revenue cycle performance. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, comfort working with large datasets, and the ability to translate complex findings into clear, actionable insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance and/or related area with 5+ years of research and data analysis experience.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Suite including advanced level of understanding in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a broad range of analyses including financial performance, operational metrics, and benchmarking
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
  • Analyze variances, trends, and key drivers of performance; provide clear explanations and recommendations
  • Support ad hoc analyses for leadership, including scenario modeling and business case development
  • Independently develop analytical frameworks for large, complex datasets
  • Synthesize data from multiple sources to generate actionable insights
  • Translate complex analyses into clear, executive-ready summaries and presentations
  • Identify opportunities to improve data quality, accessibility, and usability across teams
  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards (e.g., Tableau, sql, Databricks or similar tools) to monitor performance
  • Develop standardized reporting for financial, operational, and KPI tracking
  • Proactively identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities based on dashboard outputs
  • Partner with stakeholders to evolve reporting to meet business needs
  • Support analysis across the revenue cycle, including (as applicable): Charge capture, billing, collections, and AR performance; Denials, reimbursement trends, and net revenue realization; Productivity, cost-to-collect, and workflow efficiency
  • Identify opportunities for revenue enhancement, cost savings, and process improvement
  • Assist in evaluating vendor performance, contracts, and operational workflows
  • Partner with Finance, Operations, Billing, and other teams to gather data and support initiatives
  • Serve as a key point of contact for analytical and reporting needs
  • Build relationships across the organization to support data-driven decision making
  • Identify and implement opportunities to automate reporting and streamline workflows
  • Ensure high standards of data integrity and accuracy through strong QA processes
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts across analytics and reporting functions
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing to meet deadlines
  • Communicate timelines, risks, and deliverables proactively
  • (Senior level) Mentor junior analysts and support development of analytical best practices
