About The Position

The Senior Financial Analyst, Treasury Controllership supports the governance, control, and accounting integrity of treasury activities across the globe. This role plays a key part in ensuring treasury transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled, that internal controls over treasury operations are sound, and that treasury policy is consistently applied. The position offers exposure to treasury accounting, financial reporting, controls testing, and audit coordination, along with opportunities to contribute to process improvement initiatives that support business growth and financial stability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • 4–6 years of relevant experience in treasury controllership, treasury accounting, internal controls, finance, or accounting roles.
  • Working knowledge of treasury accounting concepts, account reconciliations, and financial controls.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • English required

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
  • Prior exposure to treasury management systems (TMS) and ERP platforms.
  • Experience supporting regional or multi-entity treasury controllership and reporting activities.
  • Understanding of intercompany funding, debt, investment, and liquidity structures from a controllership perspective.
  • Experience with SOX compliance, internal controls testing, or internal/external audit coordination.
  • Experience working in a large, matrixed, or multinational organization.
  • Demonstrated interest in treasury, controllership, or corporate finance career paths.

Responsibilities

  • Support the accounting and financial reporting of treasury activities, including debt, investments, intercompany funding, and foreign exchange transactions, for the Americas region.
  • Assist with the preparation and review of treasury-related journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform control testing and monitoring over treasury processes, identifying and investigating variances or control gaps in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Support governance of treasury policies and procedures, including documentation, periodic review, and adherence to SOX and internal audit requirements.
  • Actively partake in the implementation and subsequent maintenance of the Treasury Management System (Kyriba), including user acceptance testing, roll-out of additional modules, and controls configuration.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (Finance, Accounting, Internal Audit, Tax) to support treasury controllership processes and issue resolution, with a particular focus on seamless integration of controls and reporting workflows into Kyriba.
  • Assist with compliance activities related to internal controls, treasury policies, and external/internal audit requirements.
  • Prepare standard and ad-hoc treasury controllership reports, analyses, and documentation for management review.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and efficiency within treasury accounting, controls, and reporting operations.
