About The Position

This role is responsible for end-to-end ownership of financial analysis for list price and contract price decisions for the US Innovative Medicine business. The position requires partnering with Commercial teams to influence portfolio pricing decisions, deliver financial commitments, and frame pricing strategies for senior management. The Senior Analyst will support and shape our strategy in response to the complex pricing environment as it relates to competitive-based contracting, value/outcomes-based contracting, price action sensitivity, and external price analyses. This will require effective modeling and framing of financial scenarios for Deal/No Deal decisions and Game Theory analysis of US Innovative Medicine strategy impact on competitors and customers. The Senior Analyst will provide both financial and strategic business leadership and communicate effectively with senior management and cross-functional groups within the US Innovative Medicine organization. The position also provides leadership to the US Innovative Medicine pricing portfolio, including list and net price analyses, long-range financial planning, government legislation impacts, and other critical pricing strategy projects.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of finance, accounting or related business experience is required.
  • The ability to challenge business assumptions, think critically and develop alternative scenarios will be required.
  • Candidate must possess excellent analytical (MS Excel), conceptual, presentation, communication, influencing and interpersonal skills, required.
  • The ability to think creatively and work in a team environment is required.
  • Individual must work well in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements, work independently, and handle several tasks simultaneously, required.
  • The ability to effectively take on leadership roles in various functions is required.
  • This position requires a highly motivated individual with strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, and proven leadership skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Accounting or Finance degree preferred.
  • A CPA, CMA, MBA or other financial certifications are preferred.
  • Prior experience in the Pharmaceutical sector or Gross-To-Net/Pricing is preferred given the unique nature of this role.
