About The Position

As a Senior Financial Analyst, Group FP&A, you’ll be part of our Tools & Outdoor team working as a remote employee. You’ll support the Director of FP&A, and primarily be responsible for providing accurate and timely analysis of actuals and forecast. This role has exposure to multiple stakeholders throughout SBD including Commercial and Operations Finance, Corporate FP&A and Controllership. You will support monthly, quarterly, and annual business rhythms including close process, forecasting, and budgeting. You will complete Ad-Hoc Reporting for Tools & Outdoor Finance Leadership to Help Better Interpret Financial Results And Drivers. You will develop and maintain key financial reports and dashboards for executive leadership, ensuring accuracy and clarity in financial storytelling. You will collaborate with business units and cross-functional teams to analyze financial performance and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements. You will support month-end and quarter-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. You will conduct variance analysis and present findings with actionable recommendations. You will enhance existing FP&A processes through automation, improved data visualization, and best practices implementation. You will assist in the evaluation of new business initiatives and investment opportunities through financial modeling and scenario analysis. You will support financial systems enhancements, including EPM and ERP upgrades.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, corporate finance, or related roles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling.
  • Experience with financial systems such as Hyperion EPM, SAP, Power BI, or similar tools.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Ability to drive process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
  • Proven problem-solving skills, solid oral and written communications, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work across all functions, generating solutions or recommendations to issues before topics are presented to management.
