Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A)
About The Position
C&W Services is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to support financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and business performance analysis across the organization. This role will partner with finance and operational teams to provide insights that support decision-making, improve financial performance, and drive operational efficiency. The FP&A Analyst will assist in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, variance analysis, and data-driven decision support. This position is ideal for a finance professional looking to grow their career in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-4 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Finance, Accounting, or a related analytical role.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Ability to organize and analyze large volumes of financial data.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet established deadlines.
- Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in facilities services, property services, outsourcing, or other service-based industries.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, or similar platforms.
- Internship or experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, or financial reporting processes.
- Progress toward a CPA, CMA, MBA, or other relevant professional credential.
Responsibilities
- Support the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial models and planning tools.
- Gather and analyze financial and operational data to support planning activities.
- Help identify financial risks and opportunities through trend analysis.
- Prepare recurring financial reports, dashboards, and business performance metrics.
- Conduct variance analysis comparing actual results to budget and forecast.
- Analyze revenue, expenses, labor costs, and operational performance data.
- Support month-end and year-end financial close processes as needed.
- Partner with finance and operational teams to provide financial insights and reporting support.
- Assist in evaluating business cases, customer contracts, and operational initiatives.
- Provide ad hoc financial and operational analyses for management.
- Support leadership with data and reporting needed for key business decisions.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Identify trends, anomalies, and areas for operational improvement.
- Assist in monitoring financial performance against established goals and targets.
- Maintain reporting tools, templates, and financial databases.
- Support efforts to automate and streamline financial reporting processes.
- Help ensure data accuracy and consistency across financial systems and reports.
