About The Position

As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for providing analytical support to management, working closely with the head of global financial planning & analysis and his leadership team. The Financial analyst will be responsible to maintain financial models in order to support analytical needs of a worldwide organization. This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday with flexible hours, based in Longueuil, and performed exclusively on-site.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a business unit accountant or an accounting firm
CPA title mandatory or underway
Proficient communication skills in French and English (oral and in writing mandatory)
Strong knowledge of Excel is mandatory
Ability to sustain a high level of pressure in a fast paced environment
Adaptable, autonomous with a positive attitude
Field of studies: Finance, accounting, business administration
This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.

Nice To Haves

Experience on SAP, Onestream and Power BI are strong assets

Responsibilities

Support sales team, review sales and validate revenue recognition accuracy
Contribute to the overall process for the development of the 5 years strategic plan, annual budget and periodic forecast updates
Manage a business unit and participate in month end closing, analysis and assessment of the P&L Statements
Work closely with the business unit to help them improving the profitability
Actively work on continuous improvement of financial, operational and information presentation processes of the business unit
Maintain a strong control environment
