Five core values woven into our DNA make Team GrayMatter stand above the rest: Accountability, Integrity, Respect, Innovation and Teamwork.   The Senior Financial Analyst – FP&A Analytics (Power BI Lead) plays a critical role in supporting executive decision-making through forward-looking financial analysis, scenario modeling, and scalable analytics solutions. This role is responsible for owning and evolving the FP&A Power BI environment to ensure accurate, timely, and consistent reporting across the organization. The position partners closely with Finance, Accounting, Operations, and Commercial leadership to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights while driving continuous improvement in financial reporting and automation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or financial analytics.
  • Advanced expertise in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and performance optimization.
  • Experience integrating and modeling data from multiple financial and operational systems.
  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial insights clearly to senior leadership.
  • Strong business acumen and cross-functional partnership skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own the design, development, and maintenance of FP&A Power BI dashboards, data models, and reporting architecture.
  • Develop scalable financial and operational data models integrating multiple enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, FP&A tools).
  • Produce executive-level dashboards covering financial performance, margins, utilization, backlog, bookings, and forecasts.
  • Drive automation and standardization of recurring FP&A reporting to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support monthly close, variance analysis, and performance reviews in partnership with Finance and Accounting.
  • Support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning through advanced analytics and modeling.
  • Translate business questions into structured analytical solutions and communicate insights to senior leadership.
  • Ensure data integrity, governance, and performance optimization across Power BI solutions.
  • Execute against the FP&A analytics strategy and reporting roadmap supporting system enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Establish best practices and documentation standards; mentor analysts on analytics and reporting.
