As a Senior Financial & Actuarial Consultant, you’ll play a key role in guiding clients and account teams with data-driven insights. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that values innovation, integrity, and growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years experience with Broker or Carrier side with focus on Health and Benefits.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and Microsoft Office.
  • High degree of understanding of employee benefits funding mechanisms.
  • Must be familiar with carrier reporting systems.
  • Ability to explain complex financial concepts in simple terms.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • A collaborative mindset and a passion for helping clients succeed.
  • Commitment to ethical practices and integrity in all interactions.
  • Detail oriented; strong analytical skills and good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must remain aware of new techniques and office procedures and be able to implement new or changing procedures with adequate instruction but minimal supervision.
  • Must maintain favorable relationships with clients, vendors and other office staff.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in financial analysis and actuarial consulting.
  • Microsoft Excel expertise.
  • Effective negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze complex data to provide actionable recommendations for clients and account teams.
  • Lead client-facing meetings, presenting financial reports that track expenses, renewal projections, and funding levels.
  • Oversee underwriting team training programs and act as a consultant to both internal staff and clients, helping them navigate complex financial decisions.
  • Your work will directly contribute to client retention, satisfaction, and Gallagher’s growth.
