About The Position

This is a temporary position until December 31, 2026. You are recognized for your ability to collaborate, your interpersonal skills, your analytical and adaptive abilities? Join, as an actuarial analyst, the Private Sector Pricing - Group Insurance Quebec department where you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with team members including actuarial and pricing analysts and technicians. In this role, you will produce the documents and reports necessary for the analysis and establishment of renewal conditions and submissions, all in a hybrid mode.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in actuarial science
3 years of relevant experience
Good knowledge of the group insurance field
Proficiency in Excel functions
Mastery of the French language, both spoken and written, as well as functional proficiency in English, written, due to the nature of the tasks or interactions with English-speaking colleagues, partners, clients, or suppliers, or to meet the company's growth objectives.

Responsibilities

Apply selection standards to determine which files to quote.
Collect and validate data necessary for the production of submissions and renewals.
Establish the financial conditions of the submission files assigned to you and validate the work done by technicians.
Establish renewal conditions for groups and produce supporting documents related to renewals.
Determine the impact of group plan modifications.
Negotiate renewal conditions for assigned groups with sales team representatives.
Participate in the maintenance, evolution, or updating of software and tools necessary for the production of renewals and submissions.
Participate in the department's collective work and collaborate, as needed, on the work of other departments within the vice-presidency.
Act as a resource person for updating the department's work procedures.
