As a Senior Finance Associate within PNC's Mergers & Acquisition organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA. This position leads the research, discovery, collection, and interpretation of business requirements. The role participates in the development and review of financial processes, procedures, workflow analytics, and reporting. Responsibilities include developing detailed written guidance for financial reporting and data changes needed to meet regulatory expectations, in close coordination with Technology and Line of Business partners. The role also engages external vendors, legal partners, and Line of Business subject matter experts to design and execute business processes that improve the accuracy of Part 148 regulatory reporting. Communicate with business stakeholders and technology teams to support moderately complex business requirements. Conduct gap analyses and facilitate future state business process modeling for clients. Develop and maintain processes for ongoing data collection and compliance, and support risk, audit, and regulatory reviews by providing timely and accurate information. Additional ad hoc responsibilities may include the development and maintenance of a regulatory reporting repository supporting multiple regulations. The role may also support Resolution Plan activities, including aggregation, drafting, and governance, as well as developing an understanding of bankruptcy and other actions required in a resolution scenario. Responsibilities may further include operational capabilities and assurance testing related to Resolution Plan requirements, development and implementation of testing frameworks (including frequency and key elements), and process formalization and governance framework support.

Responsibilities

  • Designs and prepares timely, transparent, and succinct financial reports to enable informed decision-making by stakeholders.
  • Collaborates with business unit leaders to produce timely and precise revenue, expense, and staffing forecasts.
  • Develops strategic insights from data to enhance budget and forecast accuracy.
  • Collaborates with managers on, and may lead, annual budget cycle and continuous monthly forecasting.
