About The Position

Credo is hiring a Senior Finance Manager for our San Jose, CA office. This person will be reporting to the Senior Director of Financial Planning and Analysis. This role will serve as a trusted partner for Credo’s product line leadership, driving financial and operational performance excellence. We are seeking an experienced finance leader to help scale FP&A capabilities, drive process improvements, improve reporting and enable better business decisions. This individual will operate as a high-impact contributor and will coordinate cross-functionally with product, sales, operations and finance teams. Base salary range is $140,000 - $200,000 a year. The base salary offer will depend on factors such as education, experience, training, skills, qualifications, and location. This position is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, equity and a full range of medical and other benefits.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in finance, accounting, economics or related field.
  • Eight years in FP&A and/or finance experience.
  • Solid understanding of financial statements, revenue and gross margin, product and service cost structures, project ROI analysis.
  • Proficiency in cost accounting principles.
  • Advanced experience in Excel and analytical tools.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience with Netsuite, Planful, Tableau.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in semiconductor industry.
  • Experience supporting large-scale organizations with multiple concurrent programs.
  • Familiarity with revenue recognition in hardware businesses, supply chain and demand planning processes, R&D and CapEx-intensive environments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the annual and quarterly forecasts including headcount, OPEX and CapEx. Provide actual vs forecast variance analysis and periodic reports.
  • Provide financial guidance and ROI analysis on new product introductions (NPI), engineering programs, and strategic initiatives
  • Model product costs and gross margin analysis.
  • Support P&L ownership, including monthly close support, accruals review, and forecast alignment.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages with actionable insights.
  • Support product lifecycle cost analysis (PLC) and portfolio optimization.
  • Drive the long-range plan—timelines, stakeholder inputs, consolidation, and executive outputs.
  • Produce management reporting (dashboards, KPIs, variance analysis) with clear insights and narratives.
  • Handle ad hoc strategic analysis and special projects to support leadership priorities.
  • Analyze revenue, margin, and operating expense trends to identify opportunities to improve financial performance and capital efficiency.
