About The Position

The Senior Finance Manager leads consolidated financial reporting for the U.S. entity and coordinates group-level reporting requirements with the overseas headquarters. This role is responsible for consolidation accounting, IFRS-to-U.S. GAAP reconciliation, monthly/quarterly financial close, project accounting, indirect rate calculations, payroll support, and financial reporting. The position also oversees Deltek Costpoint and SAP Concur system administration while serving as the primary liaison with global finance teams.

Requirements

  • Must be U.S. citizen or with no restrictions on working for a federal contractor
  • Excellent management and supervisory skills in manufacturing industry

  • Proficient in Deltek Costpoint or SAP
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Experience in multinational companies, especially those with headquarters outside the U.S., required.
  • Hands-on consolidation accounting experience required.
  • Knowledge of IFRS required or preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare consolidated financial reporting packages for submission to overseas headquarters.
  • Reconcile U.S. GAAP financials with IFRS-based group reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate monthly and quarterly close timelines with global corporate finance teams, ensuring alignment across subsidiaries.
  • Prepare group-level adjustments, consolidation eliminations, and intercompany reconciliations.
  • Manage communication and reporting workflows between the U.S. company and foreign headquarters, including resolving consolidation discrepancies and ensuring data consistency.
  • Support global audit and statutory reporting requirements with timely and accurate submissions.
  • Review and ensure compliance with IFRS-related reporting instructions from headquarters.
  • Provide consolidated financial perspectives to bridge U.S. GAAP operational reporting and IFRS group reporting.
  • Reconcile and post timesheets and labor distribution.
  • Set up and maintain projects in Costpoint, including revenue/billing configuration, POP, and project workforces.
  • Set up and maintain leave accruals.
  • Calculate and post revenue (Miscellaneous & Service).
  • Set up, maintain, and calculate direct cost allocations (multi-job allocations).
  • Prepare quarterly indirect cost pool reconciliations and maintain cost pool forecasting models for proposal pricing.
  • Calculate burden and maintain monthly project reporting.
  • Generate monthly trial balance.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual close reporting packages and present key financial results to the Director of Finance and senior leadership.
  • Maintain reliable financial reporting based on Costpoint data and reconcile discrepancies as needed.
  • Lead internal reviews of close results, providing analysis of variances and significant trends.
  • Review and document allowable costs in accordance with DCAA (Defense Contract Audit Agency) regulations.
  • Prepare supporting documentation for internal and external audits, ensuring all financial processes meet audit requirements.
  • Support financial planning processes including annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term financial modeling.
  • Analyze financial performance trends across projects, indirect rates, labor distribution, and departmental spending to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and process improvements.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop senior analysts and accounting staff, ensuring strong technical capability and professional growth within the finance team.
  • Serve as a key financial partner to operational leaders, program management, supply chain, HR, and corporate headquarters, providing insights and guidance to support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Support the Director of Finance in strengthening team performance, collaboration, and communication across multiple departments.
